Research Interests:
Dr. Bibel’s research interest are in finite element analysis of pressure vessel components and rotocraft transmission gearing. Dr. Bibel is also the director of the Fluid Sealing Technology Laboratory. The FSTL does sponsored research for the Pressure Vessel Research Council, the Bolting Technology Council (part of the Materials Property Council), and several gasket companies.
